Use up old bread and quickly make delicious croutons

Ingredients
  

  • olive oil
  • old bread cut in cubes
  • salt and pepper
  • garlic, if you like

Instructions
 

  • cut your old bread in cubes before it is totally hard
  • let dry for a couple of days
  • heat a pan with olive oil or other vegetable oil you like and roast the breadcubes for about 5-10 minutes or until brown. If you like garlic, put in garlic powder or minced fresh garlic from the very beginning
  • season with salt and pepper
