Salted Caramel Snacking Mix

  • 1,5 cups pumpkin seeds
  • 0,25 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 2 tsp sunflower oil
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 0,5 tsp salt


  • Preheat oven to 130 degrees. Mix pumpkin and sunflower seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg and 1 tsp sunflower oil in a bowl. Spread the mix on a baking sheet covered with baking paper and bake for 12 minutes.
  • Caramelize the sugar and salt in the remaining sunflower oil in a small saucepan over medium heat until golden brown. Stir in the seeds a little at a time until all are coated with the Salted Caramel layer.
  • Allow the mix to cool, spread out on the baking sheet.
