Vanilla Turmeric Popcorn
Delicious popcorn with a difference. Surprise your guests!
- 0,5 cup popcorn corn
- 3 tsp canola oil
- 1 tsp coconut blossom sugar
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 vanilla pod
- Heat 1 tsp popcorn corn with 1 tsp canola oil in a large pot with a lid over medium heat. Once the corn begins to pop, add the remaining kernels. Cover the pot tightly, swirling in between. When popping stops, immediately remove the pot from the heat and pour into a bowl.
- Melt the remaining oil with coconut blossom sugar, turmeric and the pulp from the vanilla pod in a wok pan or pot. Toss the popcorn in it until it is evenlycoated with the turmeric-sugar mixture.
TIP Feel free to vary the topping to your liking. Spices have health-promoting effects. How about the combination of saffron, sea salt and pepper?
